Well, the Envelope Project wasn't dead, it was only sleeping for a bit. I had just ran out of steam on it, ran out of ideas. I only have 30 more envelopes to draw and mail out. One final push and when I'm finished I can finally put the Project to rest.
And it's almost Halloween! My favorite time of the year....
While I am not saying to expect every envelope I do this month to be Halloween related, do expect there to be a lot of them. I have always loved to draw monsters. Trust me, it got me in trouble in school because I was drawing monsters instead of listening...
So here is my best attempt at Boris Karloff's version on the Frankenstein's Monster. He is, next to Bela Lugosi's Dracula, one of the most instantly recognized images in the country, if not the world.
And yes, he was green. You couldn't see that because the film was, of course, in black and white. But the make-up that was used was indeed and gray-green.
Happy Halloween, all....

Holy cow, batman...that is just the best Frankenstein I've seen in a long time! Somebody is going to be super lucky to find that treasure in their mail box!
